When I had my baby (my first), I couldn't return to work and had no money
to pay for anything. There was no one to help and I didn't even know how I would buy diapers.
While I was still in the hospital, a check suddenly appeared. I had never even heard of your organization. What a life saver!

To the Ahavas Chesed Fund:
As you know, I'm divorced and have custody of four boys,
whom I've been raising...mostly alone...for years. My ex-wife is not too involved and certainly does little to help out.
Of course the divorce ruined the financial structure
of the family...the money and the house are gone. My income dropped to nearly nothing as I struggled to take care
of little kids who came home at 12:00. Social Services helps out single mothers in lots of ways, but men are ineligible.
